Maternity + Newborn Sessions
Pregnancy is such a tremendous, empowering (exhausting!) time in your life. From the first flutters, to intense cravings; it is such a unique experience. And then your beautiful bundle arrives. Your tiny, scrunched up newborn, and you are lost in a haze of sleepless days and nights; blissfully in love with the little person you made. As a mother of three, I know how precious your pregnant and new baby days are - and how swiftly they pass by.
Sessions with me are natural, candid and very relaxed. Maternity sessions are a wonderful way to celebrate your pregnancy; to take a couple of hours out of the hecticness of modern life and focus on the new person you are nurturing and growing. We could go for a (gentle) walk, and capture you and your bump in the great outdoors, or we could stay at home and capture memories with older siblings - baking cupcakes, or playing your favourite games.
Equally, newborn sessions are a quiet haven in the midst of visitors and well-wishers. Sessions generally last two hours in your own home, and that time is spent peacefully documenting all of those little details that you don't want to forget. From their tiny fingers next to your hands, to their tiny toes while they feed and doze. Sessions are led by your beautiful baby; documenting some of their first days in the world, capturing the memories that are often lost as they grow.
MATERNITY & NEWBORN PACKAGE one – £300
Includes:
- Consultation email(s) before your shoots.
- 2 x 1 hour shoots (2 hours in total), in a location of your choosing. Shoots can include all the family, or just you and bump (maternity), and baby (newborn).
- All (usually 50+) expertly edited photos sent digitally.
MATERNITY & NEWBORN PACKAGE Two – £395
Includes:
- Consultation email(s) before your shoots.
- 2 x 2 hour shoots (4 hours in total), in a location of your choosing. Shoots can include all the family, or just you and bump (maternity), and baby (newborn).
- A lovely wooden USB with all (usually 100+) expertly edited photos.
- 20 beautifully presented, high quality prints of your choice (15 x any combination of '6 x 4' & '7 x 5' sizes, 3 x '8 x 6' & 2 x '10 x 8').
Maternity Shoot - £225
Includes:
- Consultation email(s) before your shoot.
- 2 hour shoot, in a location of your choosing. The shoot can include just you and bump, or all the family (siblings, partners etc).
- A lovely wooden USB with all (usually 50+) expertly edited photos.
- 10 beautifully presented, high quality prints of your choice (any combination of '6x4' and '7x5' size prints).
NEWBORN SHOOT – £225
Includes:
- Consultation email(s) before your shoot.
- 2 hour shoot, in a location of your choosing (usually at home). The shoot can include just baby, or all the family (siblings, partners etc)..
- A lovely wooden USB with all (usually 50+) expertly edited photos.
- 10 beautifully presented, high quality prints of your choice (any combination of '6x4' and '7x5' size prints).
The printers I use are specially calibrated with me to ensure correct colours. The prints themselves are of the highest quality, and make beautiful presents or are perfect for your own walls. Our house is full of them! A print price list is available on request for additonal prints.
Booking information
I’m based in the beautiful county of East Yorkshire, and we are incredibly lucky to have such a variety of stunning locations on our doorstep here! For your maternity session, we can head to the magnificent Yorkshire coast with it's stretches of sandy beach, or go for a walk in the Wolds; exploring the woods and fields. Location is a key part of our consultation emails. Newborn sessions are usually held within your home.
I'm also more than happy to travel - I love exploring the UK! Please note, shoots outside of East Yorkshire will incur travel expenses.
Can siblings be involved in the sessions?
Yes, of course. Sessions can include all the family!
CAN I REARRANGE THE SHOOT IF IT'S RAINING / SOMEONE IS POORLY?
Of course. I'm more than happy to reschedule for illness or rainy weather! I want you to have photos you will treasure forever - and this won't be the case if we're hiding under a tree from the rain, or someone is covered in chicken pox. Please give me at least 24 hours notice for postponement.
Please note that shoots cannot be postponed for grey days.
CAN MY PETS BE INVOLVED IN THE SESSION?
Definitely! Sessions can include all the family - dogs are always more than welcome. (And any other pets if we're shooting at home. I love animals!).
WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR PHOTOS?
I have a 21 working day editing turnaround time. This may vary during busier parts of the year.
